I agree with you, whoever, do you know why it will hit $4.00 by end of October this year and grow well beyond that?

Telstra will be selling Infraco tower, Infraco International & Infraco Fixed and (and my own guess nothing more) NBN will join infraco fixed which once its sold/ leased the level playing field argument is removed. The sales/ Leasing of these assets will generate significant revenues for Telstra. I sincerely hope the commercials on these are inclusive of capital and residual payments for life of assets. Failing that it will be a larger up front. Results of this will be either ensure a continued good dividend or worst case, a once off or special dividend where there are no ongoing residual payments based on revenues for each of the Infra domains.

What then you ask after those asset sales/ leases are in the books? 5G is significant for various reasons as per whats already been discussed. Add to that, Telstra have exchanges all over the country. When the myriad of Sensors are out in the field (Machinery, equipment, devices, everything will be connected IE just like a phone in every home except many many more devices connected form lights to Ac to smoke detectors etc and same for businesses but many times more again) those senses send data that needs to be captured, evaluated, managed escalated for assistance repair etc. rather than some cloud provider such as AWS etc getting the business of hosting this computing power the hosting of management platforms, redundancy layers etc Telstra will build out their local exchanges etc to also host the compute edge layer leveraging the infrastructure they own in most suburbs in this country. Secure Edge computing hosted in these exchanges will monetise what is a cost today imo.

Hows that for a future and reason to get in now? works for me anyway and a lot of this is already known if you join the dots and paint your preferred picture . Maybe i'm crazy but i am in.
