    one aspect of the separation of Telstra is the potential to service other telecom companies with its infrastructure. The gurus at II say that the experience in the USA with towers is that freeing them up and leasing them to multiple telecom providers can result in earning multiples over just the one provider. I think the question is how this would pan out in Australia. My own view is the other major players already have most of their infrastructure in place. Not sure if Australia is large enough to have more entrants into the telecom space ( though I always thought Coles/Woolies/IGA was all the supermarket players Australia could handle then along came Aldi so What do I know). Anyway interested in what others think.
