Hi GR,first I couldn't access montgomery's opinion of the result of tls's T22 regarding costs and efficicies because one must subscribe.?But i have heard that tim guy before and again he seems one of the smarter brokers on offer.Did u get to read what montgomery's thought about tls's costs and efficiency improvements due to T22.?
Re auction,i have no critizism of tls's 26ghz purchase ,to get the mmWave national coverage i guess thats what tls requires which is fine.
My understanding is tls got 1000 mhz of spectrum (including regional),optus 800mhz which as posted means optus will be very competitive in the mmWave 5g sector with tls 'nationally'.
The one that intrigues me is tpg that purchased 400 mhz in sydney, melbourne and perth and 600mhz in all other mainland capitals for approx $110m. (tls 270m optus 220m)
As posted previously my concern has always being tpg will be 'very' competitive in the economic regions so again i'm not convinced the arpu will increase for tls in these areas for these customers.
Can i include the $270m tls paid is justifiable but if its all to be paid in FY21 hmm whats that mean for dividend.
Having said that imo only mmWave is becoming obviously imperative for govt, military and large commercial industries,so for me the question is is the profit from these sectors enough to materially effect tls's mmWave 5g earnings due to mmWave national coverage.?
Again i have never complained about the development of tls's domestic and global connectivity network,iv'e always complained that tls is not taking advantage of such a connectivity network to enter the many profitable growth opportunities such a network provides.
