Agree the nbn plan was to cover 99% of premises including sat coverage.And yes as u suggest mobile coverage. But i did enjoyed including the kangaroos,that makes as much sense as maintaining these ph's.. I don't understand how the govt or tls felt it was viable to maintain these phone boxes in the middle of no where. Yes good target practice for those with guns,those with a can of spray paint,those that rip off the hand sets because they hate the tls jingle while on hold. I guess now that calls are free the coin draws are safe. Waste of money maintaining these ph's. Between mobile connectivity and community centres that approx $270m should have been saved for other purposes ie mobile black spots and included in nbn agreement,common sense imo.
