Far to much positivity i'll have to throw in my usual negative management post.
But first i agree health and energy r obvious sectors for tls to invest in.
Just add,fine buy meridian energy although i have no idea of the earnings but on the surface powershop and the hydro business makes sense.But honestly i would have so much more respect for penn if he led the renewables industry and addressed the 'emerging' recycling issues.
Now onto my negative post to keep Cophet happy.
The 'Australian' DoD has issued 2 major military connectivity contracts,one called C4Edge the other JP9102.
Hmm the JP 9102 military contract involves mega primes such as airbus (satellite etc) and boeing.They just announced 'optus' will also joint the consortium.Hmm as posted the DoD rates tls as poor on delivering contracts.
So how will penn deliver health services.? or how will penn deal with the potential increase in tls energy customers.
I would like to know how much the final figure penn invests in the health business and meridian.
imo only best not to listen to the media/broker story,its more historical reality under current management that should b taken into account.
Currently the media is all pro tls ie buy back $1.35b no mention of the fact it was made possible by the sale of towerco etc etc.
