I believe you mentioned that Telstra needs to diversify in order to survive. Other telcos have been eating Telstra’s lunch. Not to mention the monopoly of NBN Co. ACCC keeps punishing the retailers but can not regulate NBN Co effectively.
Telstra has some excellent assets now such as 5G, health, Telstra Ventures and etc. It has to compete in the tech sector to remain relevant. The management is adopting the right strategy to create new opportunities, IMO.
