Where to now for long term investors of Telstra, page-11639

Good Morning GR,yes I read that headline and it is an excellent valuation.
- First I have always agreed with the 49% sale of infraco for reasons previously posted.
-as posted Thodey's previous valuation was approx $20b ,but since then the network has been improved ie fibre to the node nation wide etc.I didn't read the article but does it include the approx 1500 distributed data centres from ex tls exchanges.?I would guess it does which is ok.

So $15b ? is a game changing figure / business model figure even for tls.

The proceeds must be invested in an earnings accretive business or businesses of scale.
Such a figure is to large to be used for a buy back or reducing debt.
hmm it looks like tls may have so competition buying meridian ie Ampol.
Red energy including hunter valley gas plant. with change.Esports melbourne arena with change hmm .
I have other companies i'm watching but without doubt the market will like the sale and like towerco it should be reflected in the sp. but the market must start to understand the ebitda must be replaced from the partial sale of tls's prime assets as in towerco and infraco.

if tls bought red energy plus that new plant i would take a sml position.A bit of a shame because i like the 4 to 5 hydro dams meridian holds lol maybe they could be included on shopping list.
