Well u anti energy sector tls holders it looks like tls has made the short list for meridian bidders apparently 4 remaining including tls. $1b approx acquisition,um so just my opinion but i would not be in a rush to buy back shares during a potential $1b acquisition. 140k electricity customers,40,000 gas customers plus powershop. Interesting,tls retail can they utilise obvious synergies and combine tls shops with powershop.? I remember when myself and Ash were made to establish our own thread for tls energy,and if we mentioned nuclear well the sheet hit the fan. The amusing part at least for me is,with the aukus agreement,the subs imo will be the UK astute sub powered by lol 'rolls royce' nuclear power reactors.Hmm 'rolls royce' sub reactors,the same co 'rolls royce developing smr's from their experience with sub reactors. The agreement clearly breaks the NPT which clearly opens the door for smr's. The fruit cake left can say nuclear is not economic,but lets c what commercial energy operators say if smr's r govt approved especially now that labor has agreed to aukus. .
