You all don't understand the reason I have an interest in tls.I held it for years and after GFC besides CBA I went all in tls.It saved my bacon because there was no indication eps was going to drop from the approx 30 cent level.Even with conroys threats I held because eps was being maintained. The rest is history as under penn eps has dropped to .144 cents with no great turn around ,in fact i would not b surprised if tls again down grades eps similar to FY22.
Of course I would be happy for holders if share price spikes.
But imo the media commentary is pathetic.I listened to 2 guys talking about infraco.Valued at now between $13b and $17b for the 50% tls may sell. They went on to say how holders could receive proceeds in the form of dividends and they mentioned a possible share buy back.
I notice infraco sale now includes the 1500 so called distributed data centres.and why valuation has increased imo.
Now unless one is brain dead infraco has ebitda of between $2.4 and $2.7b for tls including the lease proceeds from the nbn so if the proceeds are not used to replace this ebitda the eps of tls will drastically reduce and obviously the sp.
My guess by a third.
I have 7 holdings,i follow 2 closely, the others i just hold they produce divs and generally my portfolio is stable. Most r recent buys as in between 6 months. And i similar can't follow them closely because they are relatively boring.
Bevan Slattery should show tls holders how bad management of tls has been sincen Trujillo left.Over the years Slattery has built global sea cables and in most cases tls follows.Slattery builds the $1.5b hyperone major city nationally fibre city connection ,go figure tls follows with its $1.5b major city fibre network.which Slattery calls hypertwo.
Absolutely pathetic and the list of connectivity opportunities continues unless u r a sleep at the wheel like the tls board.
Tls sells assets that return $2.4 to $2.7b ebitda and what do they do,they give the proceeds back to shareholders and a buy back ,absolutely pathetic considering connectivity fixed, mobile and space is the hotest sector globally.
Sry to long to edit its to early.
