Looks like a big cross-promotion to me.
Apart from that, statements like "The restructure will allow Telstra to get more value out of its assets, which will lead to more profit." are 'Magic Pudding' statements. Perhaps if I split my 'materials' shares from my 'consumer discretionary' and my 'infrastructure' shares, and put them all into separate little companies, the overall gains will be greatly increased.
