Hmm lets say nsw has full cloud cover then no direct satellite connectivity possible (this excludes any govt approval required for Australian airspace) so for example like tls is doing with viasat geo satellites they provide visat with a teleport connected to that $1.5b major city fibre link then tls distributes the data.
Same elon,he can not rely on each premise not have cloud cover so just like viasat elon requires first airspace access then a ground partner who i suspect will be slatteries hyperone $1.5b major city fibre connection.But then ben must partner with a telco to distribute the voice/data .
There r mega satellite customers from govts military etc but imo only it will not replace general mobile connectivity advantages for above and other reasons.

The biggest problem tls has is its administrative management ,i went to a friends kids accountancy graduation ceremony,that was more exciting than anything tls is doing.
Again under Trujillo ,Australia,japan and korea led the world on mobile technologies,now Australia follows even ben slattery by copying his hyperone major city national fibre network and our military regard tls's project delivery as poor (as in servco).
