Santos says this and they say that but farmers are saying that they aren’t happy having pipelines run through their property and granting access to further fracking developments along that corridor. Without agreement with landholders it ain’t gunna happen.
Anyway in the US BSL are finding that electric arc furnaces are cheaper to run and more efficient but in Wollongong it’s cheaper to rehabilitate the old oxygen blast furnaces.
There’s more money in generating power using renewables than there is in boiling water to run turbines.
The twiggy/cannon JV failed because it’s a million miles from the customer, the delivery was pie in the sky.
