AFR 18.1.23 S. Buckingham -Jones referred to Analyst details that Optus has suffered a $1.2b diminution of the value of its brand, after the hacking of c.10m of its current & former customers' personal passport, drivers' licence details etc.

The AFR link says that the top 3 brand values in Australia are Woolworths, Telstra, & Commonwealth Bank.

This is further evidence that Optus has suffered major reputational damage; & it can be reasonably assumed that many customers will leave Optus, with a fairly high % switching to TLS. This should boost TLS' profitability, &, eventually, SP.
