The greens and labor understand steel is integral to the Australian economy if Australia is to have Australian manufacturing.
Problem in short steel oroduction in the sector 100% requires fossil fuel as in gas,hydrogen has been tried but for various reasons can not b used .
Hmm problem how to support such a sector.Solution lets call it 'green' steel problem solved.
Still requires 'dirty' gas can't use 'green' hydrogen but hey all will support new green steel.

First enough with the 'female' ceo.My post absolutely was in reference to tls's 50/50 gender employment policy.

So how to make financial look good .hmm.
Lets say all trends are up etc .Problem solved.
Reality ebitda guidance expected to b the same as FY22 as tls has confirmed FY23 ebitda guidance will come in a low estimate which tls has achieved for last 3 years plus.
EPS 7.5 cents 1H 23 div 8.5 cents and FCF down to $1b etc etc
I'm amazed how when the right spin can sell anything whether 'green' steel or bad financials.

Anyway the market appears to like the sp is going up while eps going down as tls approaches T25.

ps Again i couldn't care if a transexual was tls's ceo and if she was paid $10m PA as long as she grew the business.
