imo only the sector of lets call it connectivity is changing rapidly.
Once upon a time a telco was the go to for connectivity.
Now imo only the sector is dividing up into specialised leading technology businesses ,and who ever holds the leading technology will have superior AI ,5g,space and ground connectivity and the customers are the high value customers as in military, govt, utilities, critical infrastructure.
AI will only be as good as the AI technology used.
Hence why many mega global co's are partnering to develop 5g potential still unkown and this includes enhanced by 6g niche technologies.
Laser will be used for 99% of all space connectivity in the leo,meo and geo etc sectors.Real time and connectivity to ground with RF or laser .
Then referring back to Australia u have ben slattery hyperone which i suspect will win the elon satellite business, telstra won the much smaller viasat satellite business but by memory viasat was recently bought out.?
This is why i mentioned vocus,i suspect they r more advanced in above (maybe) than tls, tpg.
Vocus i suspect is developing the fixed ground infrastructure for future high value customers as in above not the residential nbn.tpg, tls retail household customer.
6g niche technology imo is critical to enhance 5g and AI ,example u have a AI controlled jet fighter say chinese verse US even Australia is developing them ,but who ever has the most developed 4g,5g,6g,space connectivity will have the superior AI controlled fighter jet etc drone army vehicles, navy AI controlled weapons etc etc.
So imo above is in short dividing up the telco/connectivity sector which obviously includes the nbn/tls fixed infrastructure as ben slatery and vocus continue to build specialised Australian fixed networks.
And why after reading the vocus add over say a week the penny dropped and for the first time i thought i would research vocus only to find out macquarie infrastructure/aware had acquired it.
I don't have the time or interest to research quantium as in tls's AI partner all i know is for obvious reasons .
re r mega partnerships being formed globally to fast track development as in above and imo only this has the potential to attract high value customers from nbn.
Providing residential nbn 5g services is a completely different business model to providing global leading high value customers with superior domestic and global connectivity which is dividing the telco sector business model or at least starting to.
hmm nearly excersize time .
ps and obviously again cyber security is a priority issue and again thos with the most advanced technologies in connectivity with has the superior security.
