Would need to update on current act but doubt any new Sats would impact NBN.
The 2 Optus Sats were sold to NBN (compulsory acq) and now called skymuster. So any retail telco can on sell the now nbn service for sat phones and bb etc
I cannot see Vocus being allowed under Telco act to compete against nbn at this level. They may be able to offer cheaper rates to their customers but not wholesale to other telcos. I am few years out of industry but thats how it worked 10 years ago.
