HI JC I revisited Vocus only because of its heavy advertising on the 'military&space ' websites i read each morning,. I followed the trail to find out the current story. Now vocus is owned by Macquarie under MIRA (holds the infrastructure) and MAQ for arguments sake provides the customer service and aplications .Still known as macquarie telecom. The reason I mention above is I also picked up Vocus holds the ATO contract.I'm guessing because its a trusted connectivity network combined with applications and serices alongside other IT companies DTL etc.. In my opinion its probably superior to the large telcos that have to cater for all average joes,MAQ seems main concerntration the high margin govt/public/lge private (domestic ?)customer. This is why i would like telstra to seperate that $1.5b investment in major city business/govt fibre and transfer the best of the best tech heads from tls purple to this new division giving it the required agility to provide leading cyber solutions etc and customer service to govt and lge business This 'quantuium -Telstra agreement' sounds material but i'm again concerned can telstra provide the services,they probably have all the required applications and global network but the delivery of a superior customer service is critical. ps some on this thread hate tls diversifying ,energy should be obvious thru belong etc.Tls should take a look at themselves and compare tls to the way reports and the way macquarie MIRA invests. Oops better stop starting ti get annoyed again. And soul pattersons.each month they have a meeting about each division and possible acquisitions.Both have managements that r a pleasure to listen to.Unlike ?
