I have no reason to disagree with tls guidance re their ebitda and market expectations of of 8 to 8.5 cents eps 2H..
I have no reason to believe tls will pay a rational payout ratio.They will probably pay out 100% of earnings combined with massive decrease in FCF.
Some how the fund managers call this growth.
Historically even Penn 'increased' the div by half a cent in his first year to .315 cents , because eps increased by half a cent to .315 cents.100% payout ratio.
Since then as posted many times eps is now approx .16 cents,div approx 16 cents FCF has also halved.
Plse tell me what I'm missing,the fund managers seem positive.
Even tls FY24 guidance lacks conviction,tls calls it their 'ambition'..
I have never ever heard any co refer to guidance as 'their ambition'.Especially when their ambitious ambition is half historical earnings as clearly the fixed half ebitda has been transferred to nbn.
And again wait till vocus takes over tpg's fibre,wait till hyperone and maq/vocus get their business fibre act together.
And imo only don't underestimate the market share starlink/vocus is capable of taking from the fixed and mobile sectors not just rural/regional but metro also due to satellite and connectivity developments as in number of satellites and laser connectivity (real time).
imo only the connectivity sector is changing drastically but not tls and i'll include optus and tpg.
MAQ/vocus and starlink are leading developments imo only.
