Interesting to read many long term holders’ point of view. I have been a shareholder since Mum and Dad bought me 3 trenches of TLS shares in the initial 3 rounds of public offering. I have also worked in the telco industry for almost 20 years and am amazed that TLS can continue to pay solid dividends despite being a declining business facing rapid technological changes and failed business transformation attempts. I still have those original shares that my parents given me because I agree with many long-term investors that TLS is an income rather than capital growth play. I believe government policies (regardless of the political spectrum) will significantly influence the company’s direction but also ensuring the stability of the business despite ongoing competition. I might sell my shares if the company go through some major transformation, otherwise I am happy to hold and collect the stable dividends and reinvest them elsewhere.
