GR I take little notice of telstra these days. I did have a quick look at basic figures only which can not be regarded as financial analysis but just enough for me. So by memory -EPS .88 cents 1H div was it .905 cents or .91.5 ?.But simplistic opinion its above 100% pay out ratio. -by memory 1H 2025 debt increased almost $1 billion over 1H 2024 debt but this may have been explained in report.
Without going further I see nothing that would change my opinion regarding currently tls being a long term investment. As posted imo only its same as optus,vodafone.boring and not necessarily safe because its boring.
I will be interested in reading MAQ/vocus report as I feel there more in touch with developing technologies and enterprise/govt service/services.
I should add unless Australia changes its energy policy the growth in data centres/AI,hydrogen conversion ,jet bio fuel conversion etc will not happen.They all requires mega electricity as china understood and now the US understands especially re data centre/AI electricity consumption.. imo only gltahs its just my opinion.
