I thought I’d write a farewell post. At least for the time being anyways.

I bought 28300 shares at $4.85 back in February 2017. All I wanted to do was make 1% and continue trading.

Unfortunately the NBN issues came in which affected Telstra and they then cut their dividend. It reached a low of $2.60 and I never once was in profit.

So I basically forgot about the money and just received the dividends until the day came when hopefully I’d reach my buy price.

That day was last week.

In the end it was a good investment for the dividends and I made a little on the capital. But it’s time to say farewell telstra at least for a while. After 8 years, it feels like I’ve won the lottery lol.
