The answer is no. But the beauty about investing in bluechip like Telstra is diversification and financial strength. As I have mentioned, Telstra delivers reasonable dividend and at the same time, is growing its NAS. Tls has to transform or die standing.
With the acquisition of MTdata and (partnership) with Pivotal, it is one step in the right direction. Tls needs NAS so that it can compete effectively in Iots and in 5G space. US telco sector provides some useful feedback. Tls will survive and prosper.
Whether Penn is the right CEO is another topic. Give him another year.
