    Mr Shellenberger, who is the founder and president of the group Environmental Progress, said nuclear power was the "cleanest form of energy" available.
    And he cited the accident at Three Mile Island in 1979, where a nuclear reactor suffered a full meltdown, saying the incident "proves the inherent safety of nuclear. There was a full reactor meltdown, that's the worst thing that could happen in a nuclear plant, and nobody got a dose of radiation higher than one-sixth of a chest X-ray".
    The Three Mile Island incident, however, has been used forcefully and successfully by anti-nuclear campaigners for decades as an argument against nuclear power.


    Man even the Greenies are for nuclear. So who is against nuclear again?
