People are actually looking to Bitcoin as a store of wealth.
I have friends in South America who have been absolutley demonlished by their government & their currency. Problem is, a lot of countries dont act in the best interest of its people. Bitcoin takes the middle man out of it.
Yes it is slow at the moment, but upgrades will come.
They are struggling to scale with the huge growth.
You make some valid points.
There are other currencies that serve better for day to day expenses such as DASH, Litecoin and such.
Anyway - it is an interesting space.
I personally believe Telstra should look into this space even if it is a small allocation of their overall portfolio in terms of investment / research / development.
