Not having a go at old farts. In fact many old farts have profited hugely from Bitcoin and other alt coins. You would be surprised. It is however generally the technical savy ones that are inclined to get involved.
Bitcoins value is decided by the community and what somebody is willing to pay for it
Bubble or not, people put the value on it and therefore the people have spoken.
Why the hell are diamonds so expensive? It is rubbish. The American Stock market is in a bubble too. It does not make sense. I would argue the same with the realestate market in Sydney & Melbourne. Some things dont make complete sense but you either get on board, or you get left behind.
Of course that is all imo. As I mentioned, I am profiting from it and my hopes of buying a house outright has improved dramatically. I may not have to be a slave to the banks afterall.
