and even if by some blimin' miracle, the data was cheap enough to compete with NBN cost, the actual wording of the NBN deal prohibits such a possibility as it would jeopardize the future validity of the NBN.
ps- all that 5G is good for, is that it cuts costs of transmission for the telcos by somewhere between 10 and 20%.
but there is a fly in the ointment.
apparently, trials have been done regionally and they are not successful. they are attributing this to gum trees. sure it sounds far fetched, but thousands of birds of one flock congregate on these trees whether they be budgies, galahs,cockies , you name it .
also, they have not ruled out the interference being caused by eucalypt oil in the leaves.
