Amazon is not a shining example of a good company to invest in. PE ratio of 260x, PB ratio of 28x, $17B EBITDA on a $780B market cap??? GTFOH. It is all about expansion, Jeff gets his fat salary, and they'll decide what to do with it later on. No strategy for profit whatsoever.
Sucks in all the index funds though because of the market cap, so I guess they have a strategy for something.
