Not sure that new houses / apartments --> new subscribers.
The penetration of mobile phones is high in the population, and with the mobility of ppl and the philosophy of the telco's to get ppl on a mobile for voice & data (& businesses, govt etc who PRESUME everyone has a mobile ... eg try to access MyGov website without a mobile, & how many businesses want you mobile as FIRST point of contact), many ppl are not maintaining a landline in their house. If they already have mobile, new house will not lead to a new/extra subscriber.
Add to that comments from a TLS sales spruiker, who indicated to me that TLS was not really interested into putting too much effort into landline connctions now .... mobile was the future for evryone.
Too bad if you live in an area that is a 'blackspot' and copper is the only way to have a reliable connect.
I see TLS customes diminishing over time unless they change their act.
