As a 40+ year old currently on ADSL2+(Only option available) if 5G beats the roll out of NBN in my area I would seriously consider using that service with gigabit speeds rather than paying for the top tier service for NBN, obviously depending upon price and data allowances.
It just seems glaringly obvious that 5G will decimate NBN in the next few years if NBN does not start rolling out gigabit speed offerings prior to the 5G roll out. Not only the young will jump ship is my point
