AC,i'm not going into the % of fttp or fttb that should have been in the nbn business model,my complaint has always been the insane 93% of premises to be connected to fttp.

tpg was happily rolling out commercially viable fttb,tls was happily rolling out fibre to regional centres,imo it only made sense to roll out fttp in green fields,but then we come to established suburbs and imo thats where our brain dead govt gave it no thought the the govt because they don't understand the value of a dollar not to mention various regional propertiesn etc etc, imo ,absolutely it was always going to  require a tech mix because just in one street each house can vary in what is required to connect fttp.Anyway its an endless argument but so many continue to bring it up.

Also fttp is imperative as a strategic form of connectivity ie mobile will always be more vulnerable to interference during times of conflict etc.

ps GR,lol i promise i wont carry on about tls travel,but sry energy is a different story.
