Kevin Rudd said that fibre would future Australia but that statement is BS and everyone know that the rate of technology change just keeps getting faster and there is no such thing as future proofing of technology.
With the future of 5G coming and changing quickly taking fibre past the node will be a waste of money as wires to the house and home phones will be starting to phase out over the next few years.,we already have one of the most expensive fibre networks in the world and it is not up with the best for a number of operational conditions that were placed on the system by governments.
