From my point of view, if there is consumer demand to have the best even though the latency wouldn't matter to 95% of users, then it will be good for Telstra. And subsequently good for shareholders.
I probably won't bother cause my IPhone 6s is doing me fine.
If there is a premium for industry that benefits from the technology even better
