The very fact that two people who claim to understand what is happening with NBN and 5G but cannot agree just confirms what a f.... up this is.
How could any organisation government or otherwise commit $40 billion without a very clear exit strategy ?
With the current advances in technology digging holes and burying cables ( be those cables copper or fibre ) was always going to be at best a problematic which again is proven by the posts on this site.
These arguments should have been laid to rest before the the first dollar was spent.
It would seem that the Government (NBN ) has killed Telstra's Golden Goose ( Copper cable) at tremendous cost for no clear gain ( again proven by arguments on this site )
Money would have been better spent reducing the Aged Pension asset test to $1.00
