At my place they had to install a junction box outside the house, pull the fiber cable from the street duct into the junction box, then install the modem plus back up battery inside the house and pull the fiber from the outside junction box to the modem. The section from the street duct to the house is about 15 metres and they used the existing conduit.
One contractor 2 hours work plus parts.
So you reckon $40/hour for a contractor??
