Telstra has a lot of holding, any chance they are doing partnered research? I couldn't find anything myself so far, I just started going through the list of companies they have a stake in to see if any have a connection to 6G.
One would think if other nations think it's vital to start researching 6G Australia should be doing the same and TLS should be putting pressure on the Government for this to happen, agreed.
I wouldn't even come close to understanding how close we are to 6G, kind-of sounds like technology that really needs quantum computing and move to faster routing systems to really be of use, guessing it's all part of a bigger vision people smarter then us have envisioned.
Cloud computing, 6G speed, quantum computing, photon routers. AI and deep learning is a numbers game, feed it data as fast as you can and let it compute and build millions of variations of its self as fast as you can and seed outcomes for the likelihood of an event to occur..... seems like the logical next step.... now to wrap your head around a world with that type of capabilities.
