Geez GR,how about an easy question, hence my delay in replying..
The best way i can answer the question is the way i deal with the sharemarket, taking into account i only hold 3 shares.
First tls,i have reduced my holdings to a level where the div is material enough and fluctuations don't keep me awake at night.Someone posted tls is a sheet co,tls is a great co the question is management.
Then i have my relatively new holdings in ptm,i like this stock but i .m still on my L plates as a holder so i don't yet post on financial results, but no debt and imo only i like the foreign co's they invest in ,at least the ones i know. And it beat market expectations but is being hammered by imo only the corona virus threat.
Then i have mini me bis which reports in the morning
A stock which my brain suggests i should buy is SXE,southern electrical, its performance appears excellent but they are saving the profit for acquisition/s.
I feel there are some potentially excellent acquisitions in the sector and it 'appears' management understand the various opportunities.(unlike tls management imo only)
My criteria is far to restricted regarding how many co's i hold, but it works for me.
ps i will be watching tls very closely for any 'more' hints regarding the 8 cent div being not sustainable.
Again, either thodey made a very bad net present value nbn agreement or penn is risking tls's future by investing heavily in nas/enterprise and maybe domestic sales expenses imo only.
As posted the figures don't make sense so the question is why.they don't make sense.
Hey Ash,mark latham says he going to push hard re nuclear in nsw next week, yes i know we require the gutless fed liberals to agree but maybe latham and the nationals can get the liberals to grow some and start research on smr's and bradfield.Healthy economy healthy tls.
