    Pretty easy to understand for anyone who can see past their nose (even for a telco person like me):

    The "powdered milk" company:
    has over $600m in cash (retained from profits)
    has zero debt
    has steadily increasing market share (and profits) from Australia, from Asia and will soon add the US where it has just announced doubled revenue
    has just increased sales and profits in China in Jan and Feb despite half the country having shut down

    Basically they are growing in value because they have exceptional management and produce a quality product that people actually want to buy, not faff around endlessly marketing rubbish to benefit third parties (or talk in circles about various energy boondoggles).

    Oh, and I know this because it's my second largest holding (average entry 99 cents).

    PS: I think you'll find Chinese residents under quarantine don't need/use Telstra's network.
