The way I look at it.
There is about 11.9 billion shares on issue.
Dividends have been cut back gradually during the past few years (and will be cut back more shortly) by 30c/share/year.
That equals approx 3.6 billion a year!!!!
Now where is this money going?
Out of our pockets of course, and there is not any improvement in the share price to compensate for the loss of dividends.
This simply sucks.
