Don't know about Iran/Italy/South korea. But they should have a lesser impact then say china. Market sell-off is mainly due to china having a longer then usual break from its factory production. This should calm a lot of nerves. Overall, I still think Australia would go into a recession this year. Somethings like these, bushfires, floods, corona virus, cyclone, would cause some economic damage that is hard to overcome.

Agree it could be a dead cat bounce. But at this stage, I am adopting buy first and talk later. Woolworths and Coles were doing bumper business as customers rushed to buy toilet papers and etc.

Telstra will not bounce like Link, imo. Telstra is a boring stock.
