Ask NBN why they are not using it.
Don't forget it is not in the interest of the NBN to make it cheap.
They just build it and charge us for it.
The more they build the more they can charge and all the telcos do is the same, they pass on the costs with their little extra attached to it.
If Telstra as the only telco would build the fast last leg, the ACCC would immediately say: thank you very much for that pressie, the other telcos will have to use that as well now.
The ACCC is so bloody counter productive that it is mind boggling.
