GR,the govt can't release the spectrum earlier because it currently has users,as posted like air traffic control.eg u could b playing esports and interfere with air traffic control when using 26ghz and y it maybe released initially for indoor use only ie mcg etc. Hence y penn is not performing like trujillo,he should b pushing for 6g thz spectrum for research.This spectrum provides 1000 times more capacity than 5g spectrum and usage can be specific,etc etc etc and etc etc etc So acma and penn should b planning the release so we don't have the delays of 5g spectrum release. One bottom line,if we have conflict with a country with developed 6g technology as in quantum computing,machine learning ,AI etc which absolutely includes drone control,hacking etc we don't stand a chance with 5g.And guess who is developing 6g technology.? And don't suggest hauwei is not leading mobile technology. Some one needs to pull their finger out.Lets start with acma. ps unfortunately all politicians in australia have no idea,whether subs or spectrum,their ignorance is scary and the military advisers they listen to don't want to lose their jobs .lol i'll stop there.
