Prattling on about "6G" when 5G, to my knowledge isn't even a ratified standard yet?

How about present day. Telstra has offered a phenomenal level of support to existing customers. They can Simply apply for more data allowance through the Telstra app, and you get extra up until April 30th at no extra charge.

What does this do?
Support existing customers, no one complains about shaping or degradation of services during an already testing time, when people are working from home and moving to and relying more and more on video streaming for business and social connections.
This would hopefully improve customer loyalty, however Telstra have gone month to month, with no lock in, so it's hard to determin the direct benefit. Current users are already flexing with 4G on existing devices, proving (to me, i.e. IMO) that 4G is adequate.

It also supports behaviour change, current consumers get used to higher data usage levels, so there may be expansion in monthly data usage and higher plans in the future. After April 30th.

So much chit chat in 6G sci-fi, and virtually no understanding of how the business currently generates revenue, during this financial year, where the focus should be! Especially considering TPG/Voda and Optus and the NBN are trying to eat their lunch.
