I have read some articles about permanent change to our lifestyle as a result of current crisis. For example, more takeaways, home cooking, home entertainment, more savings (being thrifty) and etc. Imo, this crisis teaches us about being humble, compassion and loving kindness. The medical and law enforcement professions came to mind.
“Every adversity carries with it an equivalent or greater benefit”. From positive point of view, the society will learn to be thrifty (less wasteful), humble(corona hits the rich as well as the poor) and sharing of kindness. Nothing is permanent, jobs and financial security included. So too is this crisis. It too shall pass. We will be stronger, kinder and wiser.
Telecommunication technology will be critical now and in the future. Speed, connectivity and reliability count. Telstra has various investments in telecommunications, and therefore a potential winner, imo.
