2 problems.
-telstra still owns the fixed network,it just leases it to nbn.(including maintenance of national fibre to the nodes etc.I'm not sure DST would be happy if a foreign company was maintaining australias monopoly fibre network.
-second point,contrary to a post that suggests 5g/6g is a fad,tls is of national importance in maintaining leading mobile network ie this is imperative technology for australian business and govts and tls does work closely with defence depts.
ps but i'm not holding tls for a take over bid,i'm holding tls in hope of new management that has the ability to take advantage of developing technologies in various sectors..
