And even in mobile I'm just not sure they're competitive any more, largely depending on customers paying over the odds for a basic voice and data service.
I'd been putting off changing over my mobile because of concern about being to port the number without interruption but it was all done in less than 30 minutes. I'm now on the Vodafone network and yet to notice any real difference. When I was leaving the best they could offer was a package at more than twice what I'm now paying with more restrictions (additional costs).
I'd been a loyal business and personal customer and sometime shareholder for over 20 years. A significant disappointment in both departments. And as for their dealings with News on FoxTel, debacle that's worth a thread of its own.
