Solid income generating stock,?
Lets not forget penn's and the chairmans ambitious 50% reduction in profit.So far they have only achieved a 40% reduction in profit.
But I believe penn can hit his ambitious target of a 50% reduction in profit by maybe fy20 presentation.
Of course he will say he achieved this because of the nbn agreement and competition.

My point,what competition ie vodafone/optus ?,or is penn referring to any competition.
The other point ,why didn't penn as cfo and thodey as ceo state after signing of nbn agreement the result would be a 50% reduction in profit.?

Imo the capex the dugong has spent on its mobile network will probably only to protect the current $3b profit or increase it a little ie even $500m.
But the serious issue is NAS.This is penns tech business.? The problem as i see it is the dugong is facing serious real competition in NAS from co's like data 3,verizon and tpg etc domestically.Seems to me tls's NAS division has the potential to put pressure on tls's mobile profit as again appears to me tls's total costs are out of control and again imo tls can'trun competitive NAS.
Specific NAS yes but only because tls is now the only australian owned telco
Of course i could also be wrong and dugongs can run telcos.
I hope current shareholders don't have to do a CR to save the dugong,or penn will sell more silver.
