JC I have no idea what penn will present.
But imo a leading telco ceo 'should' understand how to profit from developing technologies, imo only penn doesn't.
So penn wants to be a tech co.?
But now tech co's want to expand into the connectivity sector,Y.? Answer they want control over connectivity.Y?.The answer is obvious.
Hmm a telco has final control, period.
penn should understand the competitive advantages in domestic and global technology developments he has in tls
But what penn should also understand is he has no experience in controlling the various sectors,he should as posted take material positions in co's that understand their sectors.
oops,got to keep post short.
ps JC besides foxtel lets not forget sensis, sou fun, regional pay tv,ooyala but macquarie seems to feel it is reasonable to describe penn as an esteemed leader as profits reduce 50%,but he does buy all macquaries wind farm energy production..
Bottom line, penn should not want to become a tech co because penn should screw global and domestic tech co's because penn owns the spectrum and connectivity.
imo only.
What could that group of SME's as posted do if telstra researched 6g to enhance their 5g connectivity.?And I would see which co had an interest in tls owning a material but minority interest in the various co's not wasting capex muru d rubbish or bs ballet awards.Really $20m on ballet awards then compare to what high tech domestic co's require.?.
lol i try and keep posts short.
ps JC again just like sensis ,foxtel should introduce new developments like esports or combine belong with foxtel as in being a reseller.Lets include energy.
