Yes Spark looks like a good company - though barely worth the 32x PE at current prices, or put another way, around a +60% price premium to Telstra essentially. A lot of strange acquisitions they have made, which may make them popular but not sure how it will make them money. They do have a serious advantage on their "NBN" and better capture of the 5G market. But at these prices, I reckon Telstra may just have a better chance of an outsized gain through NBN acquisition, e-Health, cloud IaaS, etc. Maybe I'm wrong, they've definitely unproven themselves for a long time now.

Telstra is undervalued as compared to Spark, imo. But some investors prefer younger and more exciting stock,
