    Here is something I posted a while back when about franking dividends including the whole Shorten thing if you care to read it.

    Besides that.
    0% tax rate or not.
    Frank or unfranked dividends doesn't matter to you either - given the same gross dividend yield.

    You still get the same amount of money in your pocket.
    With unfranked, you actually get the money sooner!
