that's garbage- the 5G network is only CAPABLE of 60 times faster.
the cost of providing this speed will be roughly the same per megabit as it always was for all telcos ,which includes Optus, which is trialing 5G just like TLS.
in other words, the plan costs will be the same with the same amount of data available.
ps- all that 5G does is to cut costs marginally for the telcos in tower installations, etc.
the biggest threat to TLS is TPG, because if the appeal from Vodaphone falls on deaf ears, then TPG will take up where Voda left off and the ACCC will be forced to capitulate.
